Andy Foltz was born under an electric star in a city named after cigarettes. Or was it the other way around? At an early age he found a muse in the flashing lights of film and tv and arcade games. Another muse descended from the influence of his mother, the art teacher. The two muses combine the sacred of high culture and tradition with the profane of low culture. Andy now seeks to elevate the ridiculous and ephemeral to a level of veneration attained by the Old Ones. Gonzo chaos petrified in glistening acrylic and oil.
Andy also works as a User Interface artist in the Electronic Entertainment Industry where he makes clicky buttons and flashing numbers while writing more Actionscript than he ever imagined.
